OUR FARMS

Welcome to Loftus Ranches, where a rich tradition of hop farming has been our passion since 1932.

Our journey started in 1920 when the Loftus family moved to Moxee, hoping to find new opportunities with the railroad. It was not long before they fell in love with farming, growing a mix of crops and raising livestock. By 1932, the family decided to dive into hop cultivation, planting their first nine-acre hop field and laying the foundation for a beloved family farm.

Today, we are proud to be in the hands of the third and fourth generations, with Michael and Patrick Smith carrying forward the Loftus legacy. Their dedication to the land and love for hop farming has helped us become a leading name in the beer industry, supplying premium hops to brewers around the world.

At Loftus Ranches, we are more than just a hop farm; we are a family deeply committed to quality, sustainability, and innovation. Our farms are not just our livelihood—it is a cherished legacy that we are excited to continue. We strive to grow premium hops that meet the ever-evolving needs of brewers, ensuring that our varieties help create exceptional beers for many years to come. We invite you to be a part of our story, celebrating the tradition and future of hop farming.
